Information about businesses analyzed in reports
To compile competitive intelligence reports, we collect publicly available information about businesses in your local market, including names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, ratings, and customer reviews. This information is gathered from sources such as Google Business Profiles, public business listings, and other publicly accessible sources. We do not collect private or non-public information about competing businesses.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate, deliver, and maintain access to your purchased reports

- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, magic links, password resets, report-ready notifications)
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Improve our services, methodology, and report quality
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising.
3. Who We Share Information With
We share information only as needed to operate our services or comply with the law:
- Stripe processes all payments. They handle credit card data directly under their own privacy policy.
- SendGrid delivers transactional emails on our behalf. Your email address is shared with SendGrid solely for delivery.
- Railway and Cloudflare host our application and serve our website. Server logs are processed by these providers as part of standard hosting operations.
- Google Places, Hunter.io, and similar data providers are used to gather public information about businesses in your market. We do not share your personal information with these providers — only the search queries needed to compile your report.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfer: If Medieval Marketer is acquired, merged, or sells assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

- Limited internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
No system is perfectly secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.
